Compassion International—Award received by Dr. Raamses Rider
Dr. Rider and his associates at Compassion International, a well-documented global child-sponsorship aid organization, applied the Influencer model in two novel ways. First, they dramatically reduced the number of children waiting for sponsorship aid for more than 12 months in a system-wide holding pool. In just two months, the pool shrank from over 10,000 cases to fewer than 500. Second, they dramatically improved a customer service process that reduced the rate at which first-world sponsors terminated their sponsorships, thus enabling more children to be released from poverty through the organization’s efforts.
